POLYCAST

Physical Properties
Polycast has excellent abrasion resistance and out performs rubber and plastic by up to 8 to 1. It has significantly better impact resistance than structural plastics and a load-bearing capacity comparable to cast steel which in turn is greater than rubber. It has a high tensile strength and can be produced in hardness ranging from 10 shore A to 90 shore D allowing its use for many different applications.

Technical specifications and quality certification can be downloaded in our Technical Information section.

Environmental Properties
Polycast is very resistant to environmental conditions such as heat, cold and aging. It has excellent long term stability in water and resistant to swelling, deterioration, mold, mildew and fungus growth, making it excellent for applications in which there is exposure to a moist environment. It is also resistant to oil and solvents.

Features
Polycast can be bonded to metal, wood or even fabric giving these materials a protective layer, therefore extending the life of the substrate.

Industry Links
Polycast can be used in a wide cross-section of industry including: agriculture, aircraft, automotive (commercial), electronics, lumber, oil field specialties, metal forming, mining, pulp paper and sport equipment.

Benefits
All our systems enjoy the benefit of BASF raw material technology. Polycast is supplied to the customers specifications which include colour, hardness and curing time. It can be dispatched in containers ranging from 25Kg –1,000Kg to suite the clients requirements.

MRi-Polytech also supply a RIGID SPRAY FOAM Insulation system that is durable, cost effective to install and controls both heat and cold efficiently.
